My views of BlackBerry improvement
What i feel BlackBerry can improve by introducing new innovate products at a low cost that can beat all the competition their facing from Apple, Samsung and Nokia. they also have to improve their hardware system to compete with their competitors. BlackBerry should improve their app world that can compete with the app store and the Google play. They should also update their BlackBerry Playbook that's better than IPad and Android tablet.

Mr.John Chen took over the reigns of the company as CEO in November 2013. BlackBerry reported loss from continuing operations of $42 million and the revenue fell below expectations. In efforts to lower the cost the company decided get rid of some of the Canadian real-estate holdings.
BlackBerry plans to unveil more keyboard smartphones over the next 2 years designed primary for corporate customers. John Chen CEO also appoints new sales team that improves its sales in major sectors like government, financial services and health care. He also plans to recruit more research and development engineers who can focus on new designs at a very low cost for new customers.

The Downfall of BlackBerry
In this competitive world a lots of competition form various hand held device companies like Apple, Samsung, and Nokia affects the market share of BlackBerry. After the release of IPhone, Verizon turned to Motorola and Google which was one of the main distributor for BlackBerry products.
In 2012 one time CEO Jim Balsillie quit the board and cut all the ties with the company. The launch of BlackBerry Z10 was a nightmare that leads to a quick downfall of the company. The other reason could be then CEO Thorsten Heins who was stiff and never resonated with consumers, media and investors.

In 1992 the company hired Mr.Jim Balsillie who also invested $250,000 in the cash stripped company. He was really strategic and ambitious that he knows how to take the company to new heights. BlackBerry reached the new heights of success because of its main focus on innovative wireless solutions for mobile communication market. The BlackBerry phone was introduced in the year 1998 and won lots of industry awards for its innovation.
Other than its BlackBerry mobile device the company also develops integrated hardware, software and services that supports multi-wireless network standards. Its wireless solutions helps users access to time-sensitive materials such as e-mails, text messages, and using internet when not in the office.
RIM has over 2000 employees in their Waterloo facilities, where blackberry does all its research, development and all manufacturing. RIM has also its facilities available in North America as well as in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

The History of BlackBerry
In 1984 two engineers Mike Lazaridis from university of Waterloo and Douglas Fregin from university of Windsor, together founded an electronic and computer science consulting firm called Research In Motion also popularity known as RIM. After struggling for a long time, RIM focused on a breakthrough technology that finds an early, secure and effective device that allows people to send and receive e-mails while away form the office call BlackBerry
With the introduction of this amazing device BlackBerry,Rim grew into one of the worlds most valuable successful tech companies. Blackberry because such as important device for business executives, heads of state and Hollywood celebrities.
