BlackBerry Improvements

Mr.John Chen took over the reigns of the company as CEO in November 2013. BlackBerry reported loss from continuing operations of $42 million and the revenue fell below expectations. In efforts to lower the cost the company decided get rid of some of the Canadian real-estate holdings.

 BlackBerry plans to unveil more keyboard smartphones over the next 2 years designed primary for corporate customers. John Chen CEO also appoints new sales team that improves its sales in major sectors like government, financial services and health care. He also plans to recruit more research and development engineers who can focus on new designs at a very low cost for new customers.
